Alu Bonda, Capsicum Bonda, Mirchi Bhajji
Ambode, Raw Banana Bhajji, Uddin Vade
Serving fresh hot Bhajjis under the roof of a blue, four wheeled cart on the RPC Layout street-side, the vendor Mr Shivaraj has a light hearted chat with every customer of his. He hails from the south Karnataka town of Maddhur, and he has been making Bhajjis in the same place for 4 years now. The many kinds of Bhajjis he sells include Mirchi Bhajji, Raw banana bhajji, Alu Bonda, capsicum bhajji, Ambode, Uddin Vade (Vada made of Urad Dal) and so on. He serves the Bhajjis of our choice with a mixture of grated carrot and onion, and Pudina chutney.
- The Bhajjis are made fresh and hot, so one is advised to be prepared to wait till the order is catered to. I promise that the Bhajjis are worth the wait.
- The wait time can be spent talking to Mr Shivaraj, who can chat up to anyone that visits him for Bhajjis, or just for a warm chat.
