Bill Khanna, the owner of Chutneys, started his business in 1990. An expert in Indian cuisine, his aim has always been to provide the best experience to his customers. Chutneys is known for its authentic Andhra-style south Indian dishes. This restaurant is famous for its extremely soft Idlis and Dosas. The dishes that have patrons coming back for more are Babai Idli - topped with a dollop of butter, Masala Dosa, and MLA Pesarattu - which is served with a hot upma filling. The Guntur Idli - with red pepper on top of it is mixed with a touch of ghee and the Steam Dosas are a huge hit. The food is served on a banana leaf which gives it a distinct taste and water is served in copper glasses. While Chutneys has six branches across the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, the Banjara Hills outlet is among the most popular ones.
