Thalassery Restaurant
THE STORY
"We prefer giving pure food, free from preservatives or artificial flavors. Our aim while serving our customers is that anyone who comes today, should definitely come back tomorrow" says Shameer, the owner of Thalassery Restaurant in Marathahalli. An out and out Kerala joint (as the name clearly indicates), it serves authentic Malayali food. Shameer, from Kannur in Kerala, started this outlet four years ago in partnership with friends and they are in the process of opening up branches in Whitefield and Bellandur in Bangalore. Keralites craving for Malabar food such as fish curry, fish fry and sea food such as prawns and mussels should consider trying Thalassery Restaurant. Among their most popular dishes are the Thalassery Chicken Dum Biriyani and Shawarma. These are always in demand and should probably make it to the must-try list.
