Peace Restaurant has a wide range of items in their menu including the regular Chinese items as well as the unique and authentic Tibetan dishes, all of which are availabale at all times.
It is a Tibetan and Chinese food chain with two outlets in Bangalore (Koramangala and Shantinagar) and one in Delhi. The Koramangala outlet opened 3 years ago, in 2013, while the Shantinagar one opened 6 months back. The owner, Tenzin, and his brother are originally from Tibet. Tenzin moved to Himachal for his studies and once he had completed them, he moved to a Tibetan colony, Mujnu-ka-tila in North Delhi, where his uncle lives. There, he along with his brother opened the first Peace restaurant using their exposure and experience in Tibetan food. Soon, his brother married a south Indian girl, and the three of them (Tenzin, his brother and his sister in law) moved to Bangalore. After spending a few days searching for a good place to open another outlet of the restaurant, they settled on a location near Jyothi Nivas College Road , Koramangala which has a Tibetan colony.
