This outlet stands on the outline of the BDA Complex, Jayanagar 4th Block, Bangalore. Popular among students, residents and visitors of the area, Rights Coffee serves a lot more than coffee, to begin with. It specialises in serving South Indian cuisine (Karnataka style), in addition to North Indian Chaat during evenings. It was started by Mr Raghavendra, who hails from Mangalore. 'There are a great number of people who come here for the Mudde at noons.', says Mr Chandra, the chef. Mudde is a single word for Ragi Mudde, a ball made by boiling Ragi (or both Ragi and rice together), and eaten with a special type of Sambar. Rights coffee is also famous for its Masala Puri.
- Rights Coffee is one of the very few street-side outlets in the area that serves breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks.
